THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LIV

templeeeeeeeeeee! *so, on the agenda for this week, we had the temple trip on thursday, with a doctor appointment scheduled for afterwards *so.. that means that we first had to leave on wednesday from vicente noble, to get to the city of barahona *basically the last of the guaguas (remember the tiny busses) from vicente noble leaves for barahona around 2 or so *which means we had lunch, and then went directly to the guagua stop *we got to biran of barahona around 3:30 or so, and we did exchanges with the ZLs *after our day of exchanges, we took a pompura (remember the tiny smart var thingies) over to batey of barahona, and we slept there *until 3:25 when we woke up that morning to make it on the bus to the temple *we had our usual 4ish hour drive, hitting the different stops around the south on our way to the temple *we arrived a little before 9, ate cookies and bananas, and then went and did a session *THE TEMPLE IS THE GREATEST PLACE EVER *then we got on another bus and went to the chapel of san geronimo for a mini zone conference *first we went into a room to get flu shots, and then ate some pizza (for the first time in like 3 months) *then we heard some things from our president, and the APs and stuff, and then we had to leave early, because the doctor (flete (the greatest doctor in the universe)) showed up to take us to the hospital *we went with his son but not son, and talked to him which was pretty cool, cuz he's about to get baptized actually, which just shows how much influence a good member can really have on the people around them (flete is a member) *so then we get to the hospital, and we meet with the gastro doctor *she gives my comp some advice and pills and stuff, and then says he needs to do a ultrasound thingy to look at his stomach, but it needs to be done in the morning *sooo that means we got to stay at presidents house for the night *we got a ride with our doctor gastro lady, who turned out to be the wife of the stake president over here, who was driving the car, and dropped us off at presidents house *we walk in, and help them do a couple things, hermana hernandez makes us some sandwiches (she's amazing), and then we wait for all the office elders to show up *they get there, and then we go with them in the truck and go over to the mission office where i get my comp for the next like 3 hours (elder west) *and basically there was a ton of chaos of just them trying to figure everything out for the second zone conference and temple trip (which is the next day for the other half of the mission) *but we eventually leave to go to their area *we walk for like 20 min just along the highway crossing it a couple times, and even tho there was constant traffic and we walked thru a tunnel and stuff.. it was still quieter than the speaker across the street in vicente noble *we eventually get to where we are going, and then we run into some random hermana missionaries *so apparently they share an area with the APs, so that was kinda interesting, cuz they showed us some lady they wanted the APs to teach, but ig they had already met her and they rejected the elders harddd *buttt that's why we have elders and hermanas.. cuz sometimes hermanas are just better (it's rare buttt.. haha jk jk) *but anyways, we taught a couple people, made some contacts.. we only had a couple hours, but it was good to just blast thru some lessons and stuff (it's so much more fun in the capital, cuz everything is just faster) *and then we come back to presidents house, and now the elders of enriquillo are with us, and we just chill for a little, and then go up to our room *btw, presidents house has been completely changed.. before it was nice and stuff, but they completely remodeled the inside of the house when they changes presidents *sooo.. we had AC.. we took a hot shower.. (they had all that stuff before, but the stuff in their house is just way nicer now).. but it was just super crazy *and then we woke up at like 5 (much nicer than 3:25) *had breakfast of some egos and fruit, and then they dropped us off back at the hospital on the way to the temple *so far they've taken my comps blood (not all of it, but yk) and we're waiting for the ultrasound or sonogram thingy *and i've just been writing this email while waiting *but then later we talked to another missionary from our mission who had dengue, and looked pretty bad *and then we got some results back and we could leave *sooo president and wife took us to the giant bus stop with all the busses that go everywhere, and we found the one that goes to vicente noble *and in the middle of our 4 hour drive back we were at a stop when some guy got on the bus and started handing everyone these candy things *and at first i thought he was really nice.. but after gave 4 to each person, we started on a rant of random preaching? *and then he was like "i ask 100 pesos from each of you to go towards the kids of vicente noble" *and then some people handed him the 100 pesos, and the rest just handed him the candy back *so basically he didn't actually give it out for free, he just was looking for money *and the whole "for the kids of vicente noble" thing was totally cap, cuz he just got off the bus and went to the next one *sooo we're pretty sure this guy is just selling candy.. but he looks at whatever town it says on the front of the bus and then uses that to make more money cuz it's a "donation" even tho it's totally fake *but anyways, i ended up buying some really crappy candy for 100 pesos from some guy in the middle of azua *we got home eventually tho *and then we had district conference (like stake conference but smol) *we all got into 2 guaguas and went to barahona *it was pretty good.. there were some good speakers anyways.. have a great week.. love you guys! mosiah 26:30-31 Yea, and as often as my people repent will I forgive them their trespasses against me. And ye shall also forgive one another your trespasses; for verily I say unto you, he that forgiveth not his neighbor’s trespasses when he says that he repents, the same hath brought himself under condemnation.
