March 27, 2023 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER XXIII

yawwwwn.. ok.. ok.. anOtthhher email... *i gave another talk in sacrament *we drank some smoothies *we went on a "hike" ..for pday *we played some "capture the flag" (more like "cAncer and hAg"... haha jk, it was actually fun) ..also pday *we played a ton of basketball ..pday again *i got sunburnt for the first time here, and apparently it's difficult for black people to comprehend thAt entire concept (one girl told me i should just wash water over it and it would go away) *went to the hospital againnn! wohooo! *they kept trying to stab me to give me different drugs and an IV and stuff, and for some reason my veins are hard to stab, so they ended up stabbing me like 8 or 9 times *and then i threw up everywhere *it was a migraine?.. probably? apparently we're supposed to go back tomorrow when there will be a real doctor who can aCtually diagnose me? we'll see if we do tho.. (nope we didn't...) *i ate an entire pint of icecream in like 27 seconds just cuz i was bored one time *the power is going out for longer periods of time now, idk if it's because of the recent earthquakes or what *we saw a 7ish foot python that got taken away on a motorcycle.. no idea to where or why, just the usual dominican tomfoolery *ig i might just gEt migraines? (that's what the hospital people said) like it might be cronic or something, who knows honestly *the nurses just kept on saying "god is the only real doctor"... which like yAh sure, but also like.. uhhh.. you diD gO to med school right? *annnnd then i woke up on the night where i ran out of meds, and ig i still had a migraine.. sooo i took some advil.. nowww we're waiting to see what happens... *anyways, i'm still alive *we get transfer news tonight, and for the first time, i'm not exactly sure what's gonna happen to me.. i could stay, buttt i might leave too, idk *ahhh looks like i'm staying lol have a good week tho, love you guys.. i learned a new spanish word this week.. vroooom vroom.. *there's an amazon store in my area now.. which means i can go in there and order things from amazon, and it will ship to the store.. it costs a little extra and everything, but my shoes are a bit holy.. so i got some new ones.. we'll see when they actually decide to show up *also on monday, i saw on somebody's story from san cristobal, that there had been some kind of huge explosion.. a ton of people hurt.. killed.. it took out 3 buildings completely.. and damaged a ton of other buildings too.. *so that was super random.. i had lived in cambita before, which is technically part of san cristobal.. it's about 20 min away, but i've been to san cristobal many times before, since i lived over there for 6 months *but anyways, one of the other nights, we were teaching this lady, and going over the plan of salvation, or the plan of heavenly father (it's now called) and we asked her why she thinks we are here on the earth.. and she kinda jokingl...

October 2, 2023 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER L

thank goodness to elder helquist here who could confirm that L was the correct number... *welll.. it's been an interesting week for sure *we've stayed at home about half of the days because of sickness *but for the first time in my mission, it's not me who's sick *my comp has some kind of ameba parasite *i won't go into the details of what that actually means (cuz i have no idea) but the symptoms are pretty weird *but we weren't really sure what was going on for a while, and we had to go to the hospital like 3 or 4 times to get all of the tests and everything done for them to be sure *but he's been doing better for the last couple days, and he got a tonnn of medicine *he has two types of pills.. one he has to take every 12 hours for 7 days.. the other he has to take once every day for the next month *and then the last one is a kind of little liquid stuff that he says doesn't really have much flavor, it's just kinda oily *anyways tho, h...

July 15, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LXXXXI

weeee had transfers.. said goodbye to canada boy, and i have received a new comp.. we got a call on tuesday before transfers, and pres told me i was gonna be training again.. i thought it would be a gringo, cuz usually there are more gringos that come in at this time of year than latinos.. buttt at these transfers there was only one gringo elder that came in.. sooo i got elder Ibargüen.. he's from panama, so he speaks spanish, and he was studying english before the mission so he knows a little.. annnd he was called to speak haitian creole.. which is a littttle awkward not gonna lie, cuz i definitely don't be speaking such language.. cuzzz i wanted to focus on mastering spanish (which i am still far from).. and the other thing, is that there aren't any haitain speaking wards or even branches in our mission.. annnd because of that, there are no sacrament meetings in haitain.. sooo i haven't put any emphasis in teaching in creole, because they n...
