June 19, 2023 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER XXXV

i am completely out of intros.. i think that's been pretty clear for the past couple months... anyways.. *we had our district pday, so we played a lot of basketball, and i ate an excess amount of smashburger *i went on an exchange with elder foster and he's a beast, super good teacher *and then we found 14 people on wednesday cuz we're trying to find a ton of people this week *then thursday we had a temple trip!!!!! WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *it was super cool as always *hung out with my boy elder vancott for a sec *and then went on an exchange with elder ashcraft in our area and we found 7 more people *and then we found 6 more people the next day *and.. then like 6 more the next day *sooo anyways we found a decent amount of people this week, cuz we kinda need to go thru people really fast in this area to be able to find the people who can make the journey to church *also, my eggs from only a week ago, that i had never opened or anything, somehow turned to liquid.. and they became covered.. like cOvered in maggots.. so idk if they were somehow iN the eggs before i bought them, buttt i'm actually pretty glad i hadn't tried to eat any of them *they also spread to my bread, so i've been living off of smoothies and uber eats for the past week *this next week will be pretty interesting too tho.. they changed the transfer days to friday or saturday, so we now get transfer news on tuesday or wednesday.. i won't be leaving anyways, cuz i just got here, but my comp thinks he's gonna leave.. he's a little tired of the area, and he wants to go be a zone leader.. we'll see tho *i've shaven my head again, and maybe given up on having hair in this country that's all tho, have a stupendous week, love you guys.. 2 nephi 25:16 And after they have been scattered, and the Lord God hath scourged them by other nations for the space of many generations, yea, even down from generation to generation until they shall be persuaded to believe in Christ, the Son of God, and the atonement, which is infinite for all mankind—and when that day shall come that they shall believe in Christ, and worship the Father in his name, with pure hearts and clean hands, and look not forward any more for another Messiah, then, at that time, the day will come that it must needs be expedient that they should

vroooom vroom.. *there's an amazon store in my area now.. which means i can go in there and order things from amazon, and it will ship to the store.. it costs a little extra and everything, but my shoes are a bit holy.. so i got some new ones.. we'll see when they actually decide to show up *also on monday, i saw on somebody's story from san cristobal, that there had been some kind of huge explosion.. a ton of people hurt.. killed.. it took out 3 buildings completely.. and damaged a ton of other buildings too.. *so that was super random.. i had lived in cambita before, which is technically part of san cristobal.. it's about 20 min away, but i've been to san cristobal many times before, since i lived over there for 6 months *but anyways, one of the other nights, we were teaching this lady, and going over the plan of salvation, or the plan of heavenly father (it's now called) and we asked her why she thinks we are here on the earth.. and she kinda jokingl...

October 2, 2023 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER L

thank goodness to elder helquist here who could confirm that L was the correct number... *welll.. it's been an interesting week for sure *we've stayed at home about half of the days because of sickness *but for the first time in my mission, it's not me who's sick *my comp has some kind of ameba parasite *i won't go into the details of what that actually means (cuz i have no idea) but the symptoms are pretty weird *but we weren't really sure what was going on for a while, and we had to go to the hospital like 3 or 4 times to get all of the tests and everything done for them to be sure *but he's been doing better for the last couple days, and he got a tonnn of medicine *he has two types of pills.. one he has to take every 12 hours for 7 days.. the other he has to take once every day for the next month *and then the last one is a kind of little liquid stuff that he says doesn't really have much flavor, it's just kinda oily *anyways tho, h...

July 15, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LXXXXI

weeee had transfers.. said goodbye to canada boy, and i have received a new comp.. we got a call on tuesday before transfers, and pres told me i was gonna be training again.. i thought it would be a gringo, cuz usually there are more gringos that come in at this time of year than latinos.. buttt at these transfers there was only one gringo elder that came in.. sooo i got elder Ibargüen.. he's from panama, so he speaks spanish, and he was studying english before the mission so he knows a little.. annnd he was called to speak haitian creole.. which is a littttle awkward not gonna lie, cuz i definitely don't be speaking such language.. cuzzz i wanted to focus on mastering spanish (which i am still far from).. and the other thing, is that there aren't any haitain speaking wards or even branches in our mission.. annnd because of that, there are no sacrament meetings in haitain.. sooo i haven't put any emphasis in teaching in creole, because they n...
