July 31, 2023 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER XXXXI

ahh.. another email.. mmmm.. *we had a zone conference that went like 3 hours longer than normal, because the new presidents hadn't ever done one before *we've known elder townsend was going to leave this area this next wednesday, because he's finished his mission *buttt we weren't exactly sure what was going to be happening in our house *we are in a house of 4, and we share the ward, but the areas put together are pretty gigantic, which is why there has been 4 elders here for a while *and then we got a call on friday, that me and my companion are both leaving the area *they didn't tell us where we are going *we later learned that there will only be 2 elders for this entire ward (so the area is gonna be hUge) *sooo basically we've spent the last few days showing elder oyervides (the one who's staying) all of our area (because he only knows the people on his side) *annnd on wednesday, we'll show up to a chapel, and they're they'll tell us where we're going *which is super weird for a lot of reasons, buttt we set up for the other elders to have a baptism this saturday, so that will be cool.. maybe they'll send pics anyways, have a good week.. love you guys! alma 14:13 And Alma said: Be it according to the will of the Lord. thank goodness to elder helquist here who could confirm that L was the correct number... *welll.. it's been an interesting week for sure *we've stayed at home about half of the days because of sickness *but for the first time in my mission, it's not me who's sick *my comp has some kind of ameba parasite *i won't go into the details of what that actually means (cuz i have no idea) but the symptoms are pretty weird *but we weren't really sure what was going on for a while, and we had to go to the hospital like 3 or 4 times to get all of the tests and everything done for them to be sure *but he's been doing better for the last couple days, and he got a tonnn of medicine *he has two types of pills.. one he has to take every 12 hours for 7 days.. the other he has to take once every day for the next month *and then the last one is a kind of little liquid stuff that he says doesn't really have much flavor, it's just kinda oily *anyways tho, h...

July 15, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LXXXXI

weeee had transfers.. said goodbye to canada boy, and i have received a new comp.. we got a call on tuesday before transfers, and pres told me i was gonna be training again.. i thought it would be a gringo, cuz usually there are more gringos that come in at this time of year than latinos.. buttt at these transfers there was only one gringo elder that came in.. sooo i got elder Ibargüen.. he's from panama, so he speaks spanish, and he was studying english before the mission so he knows a little.. annnd he was called to speak haitian creole.. which is a littttle awkward not gonna lie, cuz i definitely don't be speaking such language.. cuzzz i wanted to focus on mastering spanish (which i am still far from).. and the other thing, is that there aren't any haitain speaking wards or even branches in our mission.. annnd because of that, there are no sacrament meetings in haitain.. sooo i haven't put any emphasis in teaching in creole, because they n...

August 26, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LXXXXVII

coca-cola and kola-real.. the only things that are holding my life together at this point.. every day i'm sooo tired.. like i could just sleep the whole day.. but i don't, instead i just slug around trying to keep my eyes open.. and then once i'm on the verge of passing out from being so tired, i drink some kola-real.. and the first gulps are like a giant gust of wind that blows away the fog from my mind.. and then a couple hours (or a couple minutes) later i'm dying again.. buttt i've entered the last transfer.. it still feels so far away, but we're moving there.. sooo for now my blood runs thick with kola-real and coca-cola.. and i can for real feel it killing me, so i'm trying to wing off of it, but at the same time, there are days that i feel the grip of death tightening it's hold upon me, and then i drink some black fizzy sustenance, and it fights away the fog.. my trainer elder goldfarb (who also died in this house in my first tr...
