September 30, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER CII

so this uh.. well.. this is it ig.. that was the whole mission.. weird.. this is the last email.. 2 years has 104 weeks.. only 102 emails because i'm coming home about a week before the official 2 year mark, so that takes off a week, and then there's still this next week, but i'm not about to write an email when i'm already home.. sooo there it is.. the whole mission.. documented and saved into 102 emails.. never missed a week.. don't know hOw.. but there you have it.. went on an exchange with elder larsen, that was pretty fun.. we played soccer in hato nuevo, that was some of the most fun i've had in a while.. we played ooga booga with my comp and berry's comp, and it maybe went a little outta hand, but it was my last one, so we had to make it good.. we almost went and had another adventure with flete, but it ended up getting canceled twice.. sooo we'll see if we can get it done in these last couple days.. i pulled out 10000 pesos to buy some souvenirs and stuff.. and then realized i hAve to use all of it, cuz dominican money won't be very useful at home.. i did an exchange with the elder quinton as well, just inviting the entire world to stake conference, and finding a bunch of people in their area cuz the areabook was down for the entire day, so he couldn't really remember a lot of the things we were supposed to do that day.. we had stake conference, and that was pretty good, a littttle boring, but there were some good messages, and we saw some people.. we also went and ate some spaghetti at a members house on sunday, and played this knockoff uno game that was called golpe, where ig if you didn't say golpe when you got to one card everyone was allowed to smack you.. annnnd during the weekly mission call they showed the goal of baptisms like always.. and ever since i can remember, our mission has never gotten higher than 100 baptisms in one month.. but that's usually the goal for each month.. we always end up falling short, and i think the closest we ever got was like 93.. but our aps worked on it super hard, and we all worked super hard i think, and this month we had 118 baptisms.. sooo that's a pretty good way to go out i'd say, especially having been able to contribute to that number.. that's a wrap tho.. i can finally say, i've hated every second of the mission.. i've learned nothing in the time that i've been here.. what a waste of 2 years.. if i could go back and do it over again, i just wouldn't do it over again.. lol.. justttttt kiddddinnnngggggg.. best 2 years.. who even knows what that means.. i mean ig i'm ok with these being the best 2 years of my life up to now right? but i refuse to peak on the mission.. cuz that's just not how it's supposed to be.. the purpose is to keep growing and keep progressing every day.. my life goal is to always make the best 2 years, the ones that i'm about to live.. being grateful for the past, and learning from it.. but never peaking.. and i know that it will be possible, and even achievable thru Jesus Christ.. that's what he wants for us.. i know that he lives.. and because he lives we will too.. and we dO live, but we're the ones who gotta decide what we're gonna do about it.. and even tho i soon won't be a missionary with a plack, i will continue to do my best to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.. and that's it, love you guys.. see you in a sec.. in the name of Jesus Christ.. amen... alma 14:12-13 Now Amulek said unto Alma: Behold, perhaps they will burn us also.
