May 8, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LXXXI

mcdonalds isn't really that good.. but wendy's is some pretty high quality foods.. you thought i forgot to send an email on monday.. nOpe instead our pday got changed to wednesday this week so we can go to the temple!!! anyways tho, last week on wednesday we went to the doctor to get my ingrown toenails checked out.. cuzzz at this point i've had them for aboutttttt a year.. and they're only getting worse, so i gave up on trying to wait any longer.. i didn't go earlier tho, because i was in the south.. whichhh means that the doctor offices and emergency rooms are just call of duty maps.. or active warzone sick tents.. so anyways i got here a couple weeks ago, so i thought i may as well at this point.. the other and main reason, was that after i get surgery, i apparently can't walk for a week.. whichhh means i would have to stay in the house for a week.. which also wouldn't have been a good idea in my other areas that very severely needed missionaries.. buttt now i'm in the capital, the ward is functioning, and not balances on the backs of the missionaries, annnnd it's getting harder and harder to walk.. at this point i have to take like 3 ibuprofens a day so i can take steps.. sooo anyways we went to the doctor, and she said she can do the operation next monday (like a week and a half after when we went).. which is a bit bad, cuz it continues to get worse ofc, buttt at the same time.. i've been walking on it for a while now, and i've made it this long.. the other thing, is that it's both big toes, on both sides.. sooo that's pretty awkward.. but at least we got to go to wendy's afterwards to eat.. other than that tho, we've still been working on getting people to church, and putting some people on date.. we only put someone on date once they've come to church for the first time, so we know they're actually interested and willing to keep commitments as well.. and then this tuesday (today for me, but yesterday from the time this will be sent) i had to go get a couple blood tests.. idek what tests they are, but some things for the surgery ig.. so that was fun too, to watch the blood squirt out of my arm into a giant syringe.. anyways tho, we'll be going to the temple tomorrow which is super cool, cuz we haven't been since... uhhhhhhh.. danggg.. october... that's crazy.. buttt that'll be for the next email.. anyways, have a great week, love you guys! mosiah 20:11 And it came to pass that the people of Limhi began to drive the Lamanites before them; yet they were not half so numerous as the Lamanites. weeee had transfers.. said goodbye to canada boy, and i have received a new comp.. we got a call on tuesday before transfers, and pres told me i was gonna be training again.. i thought it would be a gringo, cuz usually there are more gringos that come in at this time of year than latinos.. buttt at these transfers there was only one gringo elder that came in.. sooo i got elder Ibargüen.. he's from panama, so he speaks spanish, and he was studying english before the mission so he knows a little.. annnd he was called to speak haitian creole.. which is a littttle awkward not gonna lie, cuz i definitely don't be speaking such language.. cuzzz i wanted to focus on mastering spanish (which i am still far from).. and the other thing, is that there aren't any haitain speaking wards or even branches in our mission.. annnd because of that, there are no sacrament meetings in haitain.. sooo i haven't put any emphasis in teaching in creole, because they n...

August 21, 2023 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER XXXXIV

vroooom vroom.. *there's an amazon store in my area now.. which means i can go in there and order things from amazon, and it will ship to the store.. it costs a little extra and everything, but my shoes are a bit holy.. so i got some new ones.. we'll see when they actually decide to show up *also on monday, i saw on somebody's story from san cristobal, that there had been some kind of huge explosion.. a ton of people hurt.. killed.. it took out 3 buildings completely.. and damaged a ton of other buildings too.. *so that was super random.. i had lived in cambita before, which is technically part of san cristobal.. it's about 20 min away, but i've been to san cristobal many times before, since i lived over there for 6 months *but anyways, one of the other nights, we were teaching this lady, and going over the plan of salvation, or the plan of heavenly father (it's now called) and we asked her why she thinks we are here on the earth.. and she kinda jokingl...

October 2, 2023 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER L

thank goodness to elder helquist here who could confirm that L was the correct number... *welll.. it's been an interesting week for sure *we've stayed at home about half of the days because of sickness *but for the first time in my mission, it's not me who's sick *my comp has some kind of ameba parasite *i won't go into the details of what that actually means (cuz i have no idea) but the symptoms are pretty weird *but we weren't really sure what was going on for a while, and we had to go to the hospital like 3 or 4 times to get all of the tests and everything done for them to be sure *but he's been doing better for the last couple days, and he got a tonnn of medicine *he has two types of pills.. one he has to take every 12 hours for 7 days.. the other he has to take once every day for the next month *and then the last one is a kind of little liquid stuff that he says doesn't really have much flavor, it's just kinda oily *anyways tho, h...
