May 13, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LXXXII

anyways the temple trip was lit.. it's pretty fun doing it in spanish.. i definitely have more reason to focus, so i can pull out every little thing that's being said.. got to see a couple people from around the mission, got some pizza, a box of juice.. annnnd 2 ubers denied us entry because we had 4 people.. sooo we got stuck there for a while and didn't really have much of a pday.. sooo not much of a break this week.. just worrrrrrk.. but it wasn't too bad.. our efforts resulted in 5 people coming to church, 3 of which for the first time.. so that was cool.. and despite a litttle pain from ingrown toenails, we still went out every day, cuz this next week is gonna be a bit detrimental.. hopefully not, but i'm supposedly not supposed to walk for about a week after the slice and dice.. we'll see about that one tho, cuz we've got some important people to visit.. but yah other than that just chilling.. sunday was a little whack after church tho.. we first had scheduled 3 lunches in between the 4 of us in the house.. so we split up for the first lunches and met up for the second.. which didn't actually take as much time as i thought it would.. and then we went out normal.. put someone on baptismal date.. and then at some point my comp started feeling sick.. he had a headache and a little nausea.. so we ended up going home about an hour early.. and he just flopped in bed while i called a couple people.. and then he threw up a bit.. so we gave him a blessing and then went to bed.. and then in the middle of the night i ofc started to have the symptoms.. just a really bad headache with a ton of nausea.. but i for some reason couldn't throw up.. sooo that was fun.. didn't sleep much.. and then now i'm waiting in an office to get stabbed and cut.. and the power went out.. so looks like this lady might be doing surgery with the light of her phone.. hopefully it's apple.. anyways, that's all for this week.. have a great week, love you guys! alma 5:9-12 And again I ask, were the bands of death broken, and the chains of hell which encircled them about, were they loosed? weeee had transfers.. said goodbye to canada boy, and i have received a new comp.. we got a call on tuesday before transfers, and pres told me i was gonna be training again.. i thought it would be a gringo, cuz usually there are more gringos that come in at this time of year than latinos.. buttt at these transfers there was only one gringo elder that came in.. sooo i got elder Ibargüen.. he's from panama, so he speaks spanish, and he was studying english before the mission so he knows a little.. annnd he was called to speak haitian creole.. which is a littttle awkward not gonna lie, cuz i definitely don't be speaking such language.. cuzzz i wanted to focus on mastering spanish (which i am still far from).. and the other thing, is that there aren't any haitain speaking wards or even branches in our mission.. annnd because of that, there are no sacrament meetings in haitain.. sooo i haven't put any emphasis in teaching in creole, because they n...

August 21, 2023 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER XXXXIV

vroooom vroom.. *there's an amazon store in my area now.. which means i can go in there and order things from amazon, and it will ship to the store.. it costs a little extra and everything, but my shoes are a bit holy.. so i got some new ones.. we'll see when they actually decide to show up *also on monday, i saw on somebody's story from san cristobal, that there had been some kind of huge explosion.. a ton of people hurt.. killed.. it took out 3 buildings completely.. and damaged a ton of other buildings too.. *so that was super random.. i had lived in cambita before, which is technically part of san cristobal.. it's about 20 min away, but i've been to san cristobal many times before, since i lived over there for 6 months *but anyways, one of the other nights, we were teaching this lady, and going over the plan of salvation, or the plan of heavenly father (it's now called) and we asked her why she thinks we are here on the earth.. and she kinda jokingl...

October 2, 2023 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER L

thank goodness to elder helquist here who could confirm that L was the correct number... *welll.. it's been an interesting week for sure *we've stayed at home about half of the days because of sickness *but for the first time in my mission, it's not me who's sick *my comp has some kind of ameba parasite *i won't go into the details of what that actually means (cuz i have no idea) but the symptoms are pretty weird *but we weren't really sure what was going on for a while, and we had to go to the hospital like 3 or 4 times to get all of the tests and everything done for them to be sure *but he's been doing better for the last couple days, and he got a tonnn of medicine *he has two types of pills.. one he has to take every 12 hours for 7 days.. the other he has to take once every day for the next month *and then the last one is a kind of little liquid stuff that he says doesn't really have much flavor, it's just kinda oily *anyways tho, h...
