March 11, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LXXIII

we went to the capital againnn.. this time we stayed at the zls house the night before, cuz we had to be at the place in the capital at 10 am.. sooo we chilled there for pday, had some pizza, and then went out with the elders in that house.. my comp went with the other 2 elders, and i went with the zls, so we did 2 sets of 3.. and we had one lesson with this kid who just got baptized over there, but for like 15 min before while we were waiting for the family to come outside to share with us, some drunk guy came up and was trying to argue that alcohol is from God.. it's natural, so we are allowed to drink it.. so that was kinda a weird little argument they had while i just sat there staring at him.. but after he left the lesson was really good.. then we got a call from the elder christiansen and goldfarb (office elders, and also past comps of mine) who had just got to the house (they were gonna sleep there so they could help some sisters move houses the next day).. so we split up again, this time it was lucio with goldfarb, and the three of us.. so that was pretty fun.. we taught some more lessons and then went home.. elder christiansen brought me my new personal card that my parents had to send in the mail, cuz my last one somehow decided i was a fraud.. sooo that pretty much saved us, cuz without that money we definitely wouldn't have been able to escape the capital, or get food while we were there.. but anyways the next day we went to the capital, and met up with a bunch of other missionaries to get their residency card processes started.. meanwhile i'm still here never having even done my first.. but that was fun to chill there and talk to some other missionaries.. and then we went on the metro (it's like a subway i think) to agaera mall.. thattt was crazy.. it was hUge and just full of america stuff and stores.. so obviously we ate a taco bell.. and then we left, hiked a little ways so an uber would actually pick us up, and then went to the massive bus stop in the capital (called pintura) annnd then came back.. butttt yah that was super expensive.. and we did nOt have enough money without my personal card... buttt other than that, we just had a week of finding and lessons.. we've been focusing sooo much in coming to church.. it's really difficult here tho for some reason.. satan really tries his hardest to stop them from coming.. he puts so many road blocks and obstacles in their way.. and to be honest, he almost always wins those battles.. but he will not win the war.. but anyways, that's all for this week.. have a great week, love you guys! ether 12:34-37 And now I know that this love which thou hast had for the children of men is charity; wherefore, except men shall have charity they cannot inherit that place which thou hast prepared in the mansions of thy Father.
