July 8, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LXXXX

category 5 gigantic hurricane beryl, presenting winds of... idrk, they were up to 130 when it was a category 4, so i'm guessing a lot higher than that.. basically in the morning there was a part where the entire sky became covered in gray, and it was super cool.. it drizzled for like 30 min, and then was on and off throughout the day, but it was less rain than just normal rain here.. basically, beryl missed us almost completely.. if i hadn't known there was a hurricane.. i literally wouldn't have known there was a hurricane.. as of rn, wednesday, it's going towards jamaica and mexico, so ig we'll see how that goes for them... and then my toe started swelling up.. that's not good.. in the night in between wednesday and thursday, i was kept up for most of it from pain.. and then it was super swollen in the morning.. it was weird too, cuz it felt like it was ingrown all over again, but it wasn't.. and the swelling was based in the cut that the doctor had made in my toe.. annnd that whole day it was raining a ton.. like legit 12 times more than the hurricane.. so we only went out late at night, and i just limped around.. but we put a baptismal date on with someone, so it was worth it.. annnd then during that night, ig the pressure of the swelling made the scar open up.. never seen that happen before.. sooo now it's still super swollen, and it's now open.. what a scam.. annnd then suddenly great amounts of blood and pus just started gushing out, and it was super gross.. sooo i'm going back to the doctor next wednesday, annnd i have to go buy a bunch of medications.. but anyways, with the meds it was fine.. and we went out on saturday and sunday.. that's pretty much all that happened this week tho, have a great week, love you guys! mosiah 28:3 Now they were desirous that salvation should be declared to every creature, for they could not bear that any human soul should perish; yea, even the very thoughts that any soul should endure endless torment did cause them to quake and tremble.

weeee had transfers.. said goodbye to canada boy, and i have received a new comp.. we got a call on tuesday before transfers, and pres told me i was gonna be training again.. i thought it would be a gringo, cuz usually there are more gringos that come in at this time of year than latinos.. buttt at these transfers there was only one gringo elder that came in.. sooo i got elder Ibargüen.. he's from panama, so he speaks spanish, and he was studying english before the mission so he knows a little.. annnd he was called to speak haitian creole.. which is a littttle awkward not gonna lie, cuz i definitely don't be speaking such language.. cuzzz i wanted to focus on mastering spanish (which i am still far from).. and the other thing, is that there aren't any haitain speaking wards or even branches in our mission.. annnd because of that, there are no sacrament meetings in haitain.. sooo i haven't put any emphasis in teaching in creole, because they n...

August 21, 2023 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER XXXXIV

vroooom vroom.. *there's an amazon store in my area now.. which means i can go in there and order things from amazon, and it will ship to the store.. it costs a little extra and everything, but my shoes are a bit holy.. so i got some new ones.. we'll see when they actually decide to show up *also on monday, i saw on somebody's story from san cristobal, that there had been some kind of huge explosion.. a ton of people hurt.. killed.. it took out 3 buildings completely.. and damaged a ton of other buildings too.. *so that was super random.. i had lived in cambita before, which is technically part of san cristobal.. it's about 20 min away, but i've been to san cristobal many times before, since i lived over there for 6 months *but anyways, one of the other nights, we were teaching this lady, and going over the plan of salvation, or the plan of heavenly father (it's now called) and we asked her why she thinks we are here on the earth.. and she kinda jokingl...

October 2, 2023 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER L

thank goodness to elder helquist here who could confirm that L was the correct number... *welll.. it's been an interesting week for sure *we've stayed at home about half of the days because of sickness *but for the first time in my mission, it's not me who's sick *my comp has some kind of ameba parasite *i won't go into the details of what that actually means (cuz i have no idea) but the symptoms are pretty weird *but we weren't really sure what was going on for a while, and we had to go to the hospital like 3 or 4 times to get all of the tests and everything done for them to be sure *but he's been doing better for the last couple days, and he got a tonnn of medicine *he has two types of pills.. one he has to take every 12 hours for 7 days.. the other he has to take once every day for the next month *and then the last one is a kind of little liquid stuff that he says doesn't really have much flavor, it's just kinda oily *anyways tho, h...
