July 1, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LXXXIX

i have hunger.. send food.. on monday we had a great district pday.. we played basketball, and ultimate frisbee, and some card games, and had some pizza.. it was good to actually do stuff for once, instead of just being on our phones, sooo i've stopped using my phone sm on pdays and such.. every tuesday we have district council.. and we started doing this thing where we go to lunch after and buy papa johns.. they have some kind of deal, where we buy 4 pizzas, plus 2 plates of garlic breadsticks, plus 3 2 liter bottles of soda.. annnd that's for 12 of us.. it's pretty much the best thing ever.. even tho the papa johns in the states is still better.. and then after we go and get ice cream from burger king that's in the same mall in our area.. we've still been focusing on member help.. it's going a little better kinda.. we're still having members cancel on us, and a lot them still don't wanna come out.. orrr they say they will, but then don't actually do it when the time comes.. which is worse, cuz then we planned stuff specifically so that they could be there, and we've had a couple days of just replaning everything in the street when members fall thru like 10 min before the lesson is supposed to happen.. we're working on it tho.. our zone leaders came on friday to do an exchange to see if they could help us with one of our friends who is sooo close to baptism.. and we taught her about fasting.. and then did a fast with her to take away her fears of being baptized and the little things that are stopping her.. sooo we went about stumbling on saturday all day cuz we were dying.. but we'll see how she feels now, cuz she did it with us, and one of our zls good old oyervides.. buttt today we have church, so we'll see who pulls up... yahhh we had our 3 most progressing people show up, so that was really good.. we're working on getting them in the water this month.. speaking of water tho, we lowkey bouta be hit smacked with a category 4 huricane that goes by the name of beryl.. weird name, but ok.. but we'll see what happens in these next few days... anyways tho, that's all for this week.. have a great week, love you guys! alma 57:27 Now this was the faith of these of whom I have spoken; they are young, and their minds are firm, and they do put their trust in God continually.

weeee had transfers.. said goodbye to canada boy, and i have received a new comp.. we got a call on tuesday before transfers, and pres told me i was gonna be training again.. i thought it would be a gringo, cuz usually there are more gringos that come in at this time of year than latinos.. buttt at these transfers there was only one gringo elder that came in.. sooo i got elder Ibargüen.. he's from panama, so he speaks spanish, and he was studying english before the mission so he knows a little.. annnd he was called to speak haitian creole.. which is a littttle awkward not gonna lie, cuz i definitely don't be speaking such language.. cuzzz i wanted to focus on mastering spanish (which i am still far from).. and the other thing, is that there aren't any haitain speaking wards or even branches in our mission.. annnd because of that, there are no sacrament meetings in haitain.. sooo i haven't put any emphasis in teaching in creole, because they n...

August 21, 2023 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER XXXXIV

vroooom vroom.. *there's an amazon store in my area now.. which means i can go in there and order things from amazon, and it will ship to the store.. it costs a little extra and everything, but my shoes are a bit holy.. so i got some new ones.. we'll see when they actually decide to show up *also on monday, i saw on somebody's story from san cristobal, that there had been some kind of huge explosion.. a ton of people hurt.. killed.. it took out 3 buildings completely.. and damaged a ton of other buildings too.. *so that was super random.. i had lived in cambita before, which is technically part of san cristobal.. it's about 20 min away, but i've been to san cristobal many times before, since i lived over there for 6 months *but anyways, one of the other nights, we were teaching this lady, and going over the plan of salvation, or the plan of heavenly father (it's now called) and we asked her why she thinks we are here on the earth.. and she kinda jokingl...

October 2, 2023 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER L

thank goodness to elder helquist here who could confirm that L was the correct number... *welll.. it's been an interesting week for sure *we've stayed at home about half of the days because of sickness *but for the first time in my mission, it's not me who's sick *my comp has some kind of ameba parasite *i won't go into the details of what that actually means (cuz i have no idea) but the symptoms are pretty weird *but we weren't really sure what was going on for a while, and we had to go to the hospital like 3 or 4 times to get all of the tests and everything done for them to be sure *but he's been doing better for the last couple days, and he got a tonnn of medicine *he has two types of pills.. one he has to take every 12 hours for 7 days.. the other he has to take once every day for the next month *and then the last one is a kind of little liquid stuff that he says doesn't really have much flavor, it's just kinda oily *anyways tho, h...
