January 22, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LXVI

wellll this is gonna be interesting... sooo it's currently wednesday.. and looks like we're having transfers in 2 days... here's some context.. basssically, my comp currently has been struggling a ton with just being a missionary in general.. he doesn't like following the rules, and he treats a lot of people pretty poorly, and he's a good guy, but not so great of a comp.. so throughout the transfer i've been communicating with my president, kinda just explaining what's been going on, and between that, the many interviews they've had, and supposed member(s) calling to complain about him, last week at zone conference pres told my comp he would probably have an emergency transfer this week.. buttt it wasn't certain, and i was still kinda convinced that he would just be going at normal transfer time, which is next friday.. buttt then on tuesday night in the middle of english class (which sOmehow turned out to be a surprise birthday for someone) we get a call from pres.. so i wave my comp over and we go in the other room, and pres is like "hey how's it going?" and i'm like "we're chillin" and then he's like "cool, can i talk to you for a sec?" and i'm like "with me? or with elder then?" and he's like "with you" and i'm like "ohhhh, ok".. so he explained that i would be getting a new comp in the next few days, and that i should keep being obedient and so forth, annnd then he asked to talk to my comp.. so i go grab my comp, and he goes in the room, and then he comes out after a couple minutes and just does that weird slide your finger across your throat thingy to signify that he was dead.. annnd then he explained to us (me and the guests of the random surprise party) that he would be leaving on friday.. and that he would be opening a new area in la union (that means the onion in spanish (it doesn't, but that'd be funny)).. and that he would be comps with elder peña (he thinks, apparently he was super nervous so he forgot all the info).. buttt yah that was interesting.. sooo he has 2 days left in the area, and then we're gonna see who shows up here.. apparently it's gonna be someone new to the mission coming from the states.. but they might already have had a couple transfers of reasignment.. soooo we'll see.. and now this is kinda unfair, cuz i have a cliff hanger, but you guys don't, cuz it's just gonna be in the next paragraph or so... later that day... welll we got another call from the ZLs and a text from one of the APs telling us what is gonna happen.. basssically tomorrow (thursday) after lunch we are going to have to load all of my comps suitcases onto a guagua and go down to azua.. and then around 6:30pm the APs are gonna show up with my new comp, and swipe my current comp.. sooo we'll find out tomorrow who my new comp is.. sooo.. his name is elder beutler, from california.. he just got to the DR, but he's been in new jersey for his first 2 transfers waiting for his visa.. he's lit.. so he showed up in azua we did a tiny exchange with the ZLs, and then we slept the night there.. in the morning we had district council, and then we came to padre las casas.. sooo now we're here just trying to fix the reeked havoc that's been going on here.. that's basically all for the week tho.. love you guys, have a great week! mosiah 27:25-26 And the Lord said unto me: Marvel not that all mankind, yea, men and women, all nations, kindreds, tongues and people, must be born again; yea, born of God, changed from their carnal and fallen state, to a state of righteousness, being redeemed of God, becoming his sons and daughters; And thus they become new creatures; and unless they do this, they can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God.
