February 5, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LXVIII

hey guys.. how's it going? the other day my comp got attacked by a pack of dogs.. but i think the dogs lost the fight.. basically we were on our way home for the night, and we stopped for a second to talk to this group of kids.. there was this dog there, and i kinda go to pet it, but the kids are like "no no that dog bites" and at first i didn't really believe them, but just to be sure, i stick my hand out, and it bares it's teeth a little bit.. sooo i just leave it there.. and a couple minutes later my comp is trying to explain how we're from china, and starts to do "karate" and he kinda takes a step back and almost steps on this same dog.. and the dog kinda steps back and starts to bare it's teeth, and then my comp (i think trying to scared it idk) kinda lunges at it.. but the dog is nOt scared, it's just pissed.. maybe it got a flash back from when it was in high school and got picked on by the other bigger bully dogs.. or maybe it was just sick of being beat up all the time by dominicans.. but anyways it just goes full attack mode.. it's growling and barking and prowling towards my comp.. and my comp just goes into fighting stance.. and then 2 more dogs hear the fight and decide to join in.. and i'm just off to the side watching what's going on, and i'm wondering if they're mad at me too.. buttt they aren't, they just wanna kill my comp.. so i start trying to calm one of the dogs down, and then i look over at my comp just in time to see him ninja kick one of the dogs right in the face (the sound it made was crazy, like 2 rocks smacking together).. and you could tell that a kick like that was gonna hurt.. but the dog didn't even cAre it was just pissed.. so my comp pulled out his pepper spray (i think it's smoked jalapeño flavor) and sprayed the dogs.. actually he triEd to spray the dogs, but he somehow got the nozzle backwards, and sprayed himself in the eyes.. which resulted in him collapsing on the floor, and then the dogs ate him.. not really, after he kicked that one dog i'm not really sure what happened, but the kids kinda came and got the dogs and shooed them away and we went home.. my comp doesn't own pepper spray.. that i know of.. idk.. but other than that, we had exchanges with the ZLs, that was pretty lit.. did a ton more finding, which was really fun, we just gotta build up our forces.. played some guitar.. ate some ice cream... annnnd i think that's basically all... but love you guys, have a great week! mosiah 3:7-10 And lo, he shall suffer temptations, and pain of body, hunger, thirst, and fatigue, even more than man can suffer, except it be unto death; for behold, blood cometh from every pore, so great shall be his anguish for the wickedness and the abominations of his people. vroooom vroom.. *there's an amazon store in my area now.. which means i can go in there and order things from amazon, and it will ship to the store.. it costs a little extra and everything, but my shoes are a bit holy.. so i got some new ones.. we'll see when they actually decide to show up *also on monday, i saw on somebody's story from san cristobal, that there had been some kind of huge explosion.. a ton of people hurt.. killed.. it took out 3 buildings completely.. and damaged a ton of other buildings too.. *so that was super random.. i had lived in cambita before, which is technically part of san cristobal.. it's about 20 min away, but i've been to san cristobal many times before, since i lived over there for 6 months *but anyways, one of the other nights, we were teaching this lady, and going over the plan of salvation, or the plan of heavenly father (it's now called) and we asked her why she thinks we are here on the earth.. and she kinda jokingl...

October 2, 2023 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER L

thank goodness to elder helquist here who could confirm that L was the correct number... *welll.. it's been an interesting week for sure *we've stayed at home about half of the days because of sickness *but for the first time in my mission, it's not me who's sick *my comp has some kind of ameba parasite *i won't go into the details of what that actually means (cuz i have no idea) but the symptoms are pretty weird *but we weren't really sure what was going on for a while, and we had to go to the hospital like 3 or 4 times to get all of the tests and everything done for them to be sure *but he's been doing better for the last couple days, and he got a tonnn of medicine *he has two types of pills.. one he has to take every 12 hours for 7 days.. the other he has to take once every day for the next month *and then the last one is a kind of little liquid stuff that he says doesn't really have much flavor, it's just kinda oily *anyways tho, h...

July 15, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LXXXXI

weeee had transfers.. said goodbye to canada boy, and i have received a new comp.. we got a call on tuesday before transfers, and pres told me i was gonna be training again.. i thought it would be a gringo, cuz usually there are more gringos that come in at this time of year than latinos.. buttt at these transfers there was only one gringo elder that came in.. sooo i got elder Ibargüen.. he's from panama, so he speaks spanish, and he was studying english before the mission so he knows a little.. annnd he was called to speak haitian creole.. which is a littttle awkward not gonna lie, cuz i definitely don't be speaking such language.. cuzzz i wanted to focus on mastering spanish (which i am still far from).. and the other thing, is that there aren't any haitain speaking wards or even branches in our mission.. annnd because of that, there are no sacrament meetings in haitain.. sooo i haven't put any emphasis in teaching in creole, because they n...
