February 12, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LXIX

my google photos is broken.. i've been continually uploading photos since the beginning of my mission, but apparently there haven't been any that have gone thru for the past 4 or so months.. i also can never see if anyone else uploads their photos on their shared drives.. i've tried updating the app many times, deleting it and getting it again.. i don't know what to do.. if anyone has any recomendations on how to fix that.. that'd be cool... but anyways, another thing that's broken.. my legality here.. that doesn't make sense, ik.. buttt i think i explained before at some point how i still don't have a residency card and my visa expired like 4 or 5 months ago, making me ilegal.. anddd maybe 2 or so months ago i had to go to the capital (back when i was with gilbert (the comp who was mortaly ill all the time)) and there they took my finger prints and had me fill out some papers to get my fbi background check figured out, cuz apparently some big brained individual somehow managed to lose both that annnd my birth certificate.. buttt the point of me saying all this is.. i got the email this week that was supposed to say "thank you for using 'top secret prints and company' for your finger printing needs, here are your verified finger prints, ready for the fbi" or something like that idk.. however.. i instead received an email that said something like "there is an extremely small number of people who's finger prints are too shallow due to genetics or work that have difficulty taking their prints.. congrats, you are one of them.. we are unable to process your prints".. sooo we're going back to the capital on tuesday to take more finger prints.. and we're still super far from the capital, so that'll be interesting.. buttt at least maybe we can get some fancy food or something while we're there.. buttt other than that we just had a chill week of setting fire our area.. in the past 3 weeks we've found like 60 people or so, sooo now we're dropping a ton.. annnd we're just gonna keep on dropping and finding till we find the people who are ready.. buttt we went to every one of their houses on saturday to invite them all to church.. annnd that took the whole day pretty much.. we're hopping if we keep doing this tho, we'll also be able to get out church attendance up, cuz it's slacking.. sooo we'll see.. that'd be all tho, love you guys, have a great week! 2 nefi 2:26-27 And the Messiah cometh in the fulness of time, that he may redeem the children of men from the fall. vroooom vroom.. *there's an amazon store in my area now.. which means i can go in there and order things from amazon, and it will ship to the store.. it costs a little extra and everything, but my shoes are a bit holy.. so i got some new ones.. we'll see when they actually decide to show up *also on monday, i saw on somebody's story from san cristobal, that there had been some kind of huge explosion.. a ton of people hurt.. killed.. it took out 3 buildings completely.. and damaged a ton of other buildings too.. *so that was super random.. i had lived in cambita before, which is technically part of san cristobal.. it's about 20 min away, but i've been to san cristobal many times before, since i lived over there for 6 months *but anyways, one of the other nights, we were teaching this lady, and going over the plan of salvation, or the plan of heavenly father (it's now called) and we asked her why she thinks we are here on the earth.. and she kinda jokingl...

October 2, 2023 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER L

thank goodness to elder helquist here who could confirm that L was the correct number... *welll.. it's been an interesting week for sure *we've stayed at home about half of the days because of sickness *but for the first time in my mission, it's not me who's sick *my comp has some kind of ameba parasite *i won't go into the details of what that actually means (cuz i have no idea) but the symptoms are pretty weird *but we weren't really sure what was going on for a while, and we had to go to the hospital like 3 or 4 times to get all of the tests and everything done for them to be sure *but he's been doing better for the last couple days, and he got a tonnn of medicine *he has two types of pills.. one he has to take every 12 hours for 7 days.. the other he has to take once every day for the next month *and then the last one is a kind of little liquid stuff that he says doesn't really have much flavor, it's just kinda oily *anyways tho, h...

July 15, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LXXXXI

weeee had transfers.. said goodbye to canada boy, and i have received a new comp.. we got a call on tuesday before transfers, and pres told me i was gonna be training again.. i thought it would be a gringo, cuz usually there are more gringos that come in at this time of year than latinos.. buttt at these transfers there was only one gringo elder that came in.. sooo i got elder Ibargüen.. he's from panama, so he speaks spanish, and he was studying english before the mission so he knows a little.. annnd he was called to speak haitian creole.. which is a littttle awkward not gonna lie, cuz i definitely don't be speaking such language.. cuzzz i wanted to focus on mastering spanish (which i am still far from).. and the other thing, is that there aren't any haitain speaking wards or even branches in our mission.. annnd because of that, there are no sacrament meetings in haitain.. sooo i haven't put any emphasis in teaching in creole, because they n...
