August 5, 2024 THE HOPEFULLY NOT SO BORING ADVENTURES OF ELDER WILLIAMSON CHAPTER LXXXXIV

that's a big looking number right there.. silly romans.. monday we had a party.. but a sad party.. cuz an elder who just barely started the mission had to go home because of his parasites.. so we played gross soda pong, and ate some snacks.. there was a gross cake too.. and it was sad.. most depressing party ever.. it was fun lowkey.. but sad.. we had zone conference this week, that was interesting.. there were some really good parts, but we also had some parts that were a bit.. interesting fs.. my comp has confirmed bacteria in his stomach, so that's a classic.. he hasn't been doing so well with the food here.. it's a litttle different than panama apparently.. i also had like a bunch more migraines again, so that was super fun.. hadn't had one in a while, but i bought some new meds for it so hopefully the next time one shows up i can stop it before it gets too bad.. also they continued to have problems with my residence card thingy, and apparently the church office still hasn't figured out the birth certificate or the fbi background check thingy.. sooo now the office has to pay a little fine to get me home.. apparently it's only $200 tho, so it's not even bad.. something seemingly small but actually very large happened this week.. i got a migraine.. now you're all like yahhh we knOw.. buttt this time it was while we were walking to a very far away part of our area.. and i didn't feel like going back home, cuz it was barely the beginning of the day, and we had stuFf to do that day, like member present lessons and stuff.. sooo i said a prayer while we were walking, to help me to be able to withstand the migraine, and for it to go away.. it did not work.. at least not in the way i wanted it to.. because the migraine did not in fact go away, but got much worse.. and by the time we arrived at the house that we were going to i had to sit down on the curb outside the house and try not to black out.. annnd then some lady walked out of her house (a random lady) and asked what was wrong.. i told her i had a migraine, and i was trying to wait for it to go away.. so she went inside and came out with a migraine pill and a cup of water.. that's a miracle.. buttt it didn't actually help.. so we went inside and i thought.. i'll just sit in a chair and breathe really deep and stare at the floor and it will go away.. it didn't.. so i layed on the floor for the next 45 minutesish and the lady was like "take a shower, it will make it go away".. and in my head i was like "no lady, that's not true" but out loud i just said "ok", and went into the bathroom, cuz i felt like i was gonna throw up.. buttt i withersoever could not, so i spilt water upon my head, and went my way up straightway therewith out of that place.. annnd it was only getting worse.. so we started the treck home.. and on the way it started raining, which cooled down the temperature, and that helped a little.. and then some members from a different ward were driving by, and gave us a ride to the house.. sooo we spent the rest of the day at the house.. the migraine took a long time and a lot of drugs to go away.. and my prayer was not answered in the way that i had previously wished.. however.. the one lady gave me a pill.. and that was vEry specific to my need, and even tho it didn't fix the problem, that didn't matter, because it was a sign that God had heard my prayer.. and even tho we had to walk back when i was on the edge of death, the rain and the ride made it possible.. and even tho i wanted to be out that day, and we needed those member present lessons, we still got a member present lesson from the one lesson we diD have, and that wasn't much, but it was still more than what we would have had, had we just turned around and gone home when i felt it coming.. and i know i didn't receive the answer to my prayer that i wanted at the time, but i ended up learning more from the experience that i diD have.. ik that God answers our prayers.. the problem, is that a lot of the time we don't want that answer.. but if we can find the reason for the answer we do recieve, we will realize the blessings of a perfect Heavenly Father, who unlike us, actually knows what he's doing.. anyways tho, that's all for this week, have a great week, love you guys! john 13:12-17 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?
